The creation of the new regions would be completed before the end of this year

Minister for Regional Re-organisation and Development, Dan Botwe says the creation of the new regions would be completed before the end of this year.

He said his Ministry is in touch with the Electoral Commission and was optimistic that a referendum would be organised this year. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana in Accra, Mr. Botwe said the budget for the creation of the proposed region, has been factored into this year's budget.
