Bawku West DCE congratulates elected Zebila NDC Executives


The immediate past Bawku West District Chief Executive, Simon Ayande Agbango, has congratulated the newly elected National Democratic Congress, NDC, executives in the Zebila Constituency of the Upper East Region. 

He admonished the victors to be magnanimous in their celebrations and encouraged the defeated candidates to get involved and continue to work hard for the party’s victory in 2020. 

The main opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, held its party’s constituency elections Saturday June 23, 2018. 

Mr. Ayande further admonished individuals who lost to be strong and respect the decisions of the delegates. 

He charged the executives to keep the ideals of the party and work hard to bring NDC back to power in the 2020 general elections. 

“There is no rest for us, winners and losers alike because the bigger task is just ahead”. 

“The task to build a winning team and a fair more responsive party system for every member of the NDC awaits us”. 

“Let us build from now on, a well organized NDC capable of winning the 2020 general elections”. 

"I am inspired to see your hard work has finally given birth to success and I believe you will resist the temptation of committing the mistakes that called for your ascension”. 

Mr. Ayande however encouraged the new executives not to see their competitors who lost as enemies but rather involve them in their operation to achieve a common goal, which is to ensure victory for NDC in 2020. 

Mr. Ayande added that, NDC is prepared for 2020 election and will do everything politically possible to take the Zebila parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party, NPP. 

He said, the NDC track record in terms of massive infrastructure development and the positive growth of the economy under former President John Mahama, particularly in the Zebila Constituency has made Ghanaians to know the difference between the NDC and NPP. 

This, Mr. Ayande said, come 2020, Ghanaians will show the NPP exit from power, for the gross incompetent, massive corruption, create loot and share, failures on campaign promises and running family, friends and concubines government. 

Mr. Ayande said the free and fair nature, and the peaceful outcome of the Zebila Constituency executive elections, is only a confirmation of their party's belief in internal party competition.  

He urged all members of the party to rally together quickly behind the new executives, in a renewed spirit of unity, dedication and commitment, so that the party can become stronger, better, and more effective in the 2020 general elections.
