Vice President advocates standardised design and cost for government initiated building projects

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia says there is the need for a standardised design and maximum cost for the construction of schools, roads and hospitals to enable Ghana to get value for money. 

He indicated that while the country invests in the much needed infrastructure, it is important to take steps to reduce financial wastage and protect the public purse. 

Vice President Bawumia made these remarks at the Value for Money Conference in Accra which is being spearheaded by the Presidency in Accra.
