Select persons who will restore core values of "truth, integrity, probity & accountabiliy" - Rawlings tells NDC delegates
Former President Jerry John Rawlings on Saturday urged delegates of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC), to take constituency elections seriously by selecting committed persons who will restore the core values of principles of truth, integrity, probity and accountability.
Flt. Lt. JJ Rawlings who is also the founder of the party said, as the process is aimed at selecting persons who will manage the grassroots of the party, the process must be based on transparency, equity and fairness.
The message which tweeted and signed by Kobina Andoh Amoakwa, Communication Directorate, office of the former president Rawlings, wishes delegates and candidates well and prayed that the choices made will reflect the face of a rejuvinated NDC, desirous of moving on from the challenges that cost the NDC dearly in 2016 elections.
