GFA, FIFA deliberations pave way for Ghana's football activities to resume 

Football in Ghana is expected to resume following a successful meeting with FIFA and government officials in Accra. 

A joint statement signed by FIFA's Director for Africa and the Caribbean, Veron Mosengo-Omba, and Minister of Information, Dr Mustapha Hamid, said interim measures will be put in place to allow the continuation of Ghana's football. 

The statement said both government and FIFA have zero tolerance for corruption, criminality and other forms of illegality, and that the government of Ghana has the right to enforce its national laws against criminal conduct and illegality. 

It said the government of Ghana'sdelegation will continue discussions with FIFA in Zurich, Switzerland for the purpose of finalising the interim arrangements regarding football in Ghana.
