President Akufo-Addo swears in 4 more envoys 


President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has swore into office two more Ambassadors with a charge to promote business opportunities between Ghana and their respective countries of representation.
 
The two envoys are Gloria Opoku and Jane Ahetor who are heading to Senegal and Guinea respectively. 

President Akufo-Addo asked them to guard jealously the image of Ghana and deepen the already cordial relations between Ghana and their respective country and explore opportunities to the benefits of the Ghanaian people.

This is the 7th batch of ambassadors to be commissioned by the president since assumption of power.

They took the oaths of office ,secrecy and allegiance and were later given the instrument of appointment. 

President Akufo-Addo reminded them of their responsibility of preserving and promoting the image of the country’s high reputation. 

He asked them to explore areas of trade and bring investors to the country. 

He reminded them of the need to develop a cordial working relationship with the foreign service staff.

On behalf of his colleagues, Ghana’s Ambassador to Guinea, Jane Ahetor thanked the President for reposing confidence in them. 

They promised to work acidulously to lift the image of the country.  

In a separate development, four (4) envoys presented letters of credence to President Akufo-Addo at a brief ceremony at the Jubilee House to begin their duty tour in Ghana.

They are Mohammed farahat -Morocco, Dr. Valerii aleksandruk- Ukrainian, Jalel trabelsi, Tunisian and Antonio Pedro da vinha, Portugual.
