Pregnant women asked to deliver at Health Centres to ensure good health The Sissala East Municipal Health Director, Nyuasun Saani says if issues of maternal mortality are to be a thing of the past, the notion that women who deliver at health facilities are weak and not bold must be done away with. He said when health professionals are present to help in the delivery of babies, they would be able to ensure the good health and life of both mother and child. Mr Saani made this known when the UNICEF National Committee along with the Italian Ambassador to Ghana visited the Tumu Municipal Hospital to present the facility with equipment aimed at improving the lives of new born babies and their mothers.
