PHOTOS: Presbyterian College of Education holds 170th anniversary celebration

President Akufo-Addo today (Saturday, June 16), delivered the keynote address when he joined leaders, teachers and student of the Presbyterian College of Education in Akropong, in the Eastern Region of Ghana to mark the 170th anniversary celebration of the school. 

Delivering the keynote address, President Akufo-Addo stated that from the 2018/19 academic year, which begins in September 2018, all Colleges of Education in the country will be upgraded to University Colleges. 

President Akufo-Addo indicated that a 4-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree will also be introduced in the University Colleges. 

The 4-year Bachelor of Education degree will begin in September 2018.
