PPP criticises Minority over moves to halt issuance of NIA card The Progressive People's Party (PPP) has criticised the Minority in Parliament over moves to halt the issuance of the NIA card popularly called ''Ghana Card''. The minority last week boycotted the process in Parliament threatening to sue the NIA for not accepting the voter ID card as prove of citizenship. This, the PPP described, as hypocritical. Policy advisor of the PPP, Kofi Siaw Asamaoh said the Minority was in Parliament when the NIA law was amended and they should be blamed. Mr. Asamoah advised the NDC to introduce a private member's bill to amend the current law. On the cost of the project, Mr. Asamoah urged Parliament to set up a Committee to investigate it. He also called on the BNI to investigate the issuance of fake NIA card in the name of some Minority members of Parliament. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
