18 galamseyers arrested at Ayanfuri-Bibiani

Eighteen galamseyers have been arrested by the Operation Vanguard team at Ayamfuri-Bibiani road of the Western Region. According to the Operation Vanguard team, these illegal miners where mining close to the road side. 

Spokesperson for the operation vanguard Squadron Leader Omane Adjei, said the team will continue  to mount the search to get these illegal miners out of the system. 

He said the court fines are now punitive hoping it will deter other.
