Youth urged to work hard to attain goals

The Catholic Bishop of Keta-Akatsi Diocese, Most Rev. Gabriel Edoe Kumordji has bemoaned the spate at which some youth are in haste for materialism instead of working hard to gradually attain their goals. 

He said wealthy elderly people in society did not use a day to acquire what they have. 

He therefore called on the youth to work hard, reminding them that there is dignity in hard work. 

Most Rev. Gabriel Edoe Kumordji made the point at an event where members of the St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at Denu in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region marked their 125th Anniversary. 

The occasion was also used to honour the early missionaries for their dedication and selflessness in bringing enlightenment to the area.
