Asantehene and Okyehene meet for ceremonial Tee Off

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu, and the Okyehene, Amoatia Ofori Panin, have jointly undertaken a ceremonial Tee Off of the 2nd annual Head of State Invitational Golf Tournament. 

The event took place at the Royal Golf Course in Kumasi.

The public appearance of the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu and the Okyehene, Amoatia Ofori Panin'   is seen by many as a positive sign of leadership to their people. 

At the Golf Course, the two prominent leaders engaged in hearty conversations before and after the two hour event.

In all, about 140 golfers from across the country took part in the tournament in both male and female categories. 

In an interview, President of the Ghana Golfers Association, Mike Aggrey noted that bringing people together on a common platform is one of the key goals of golf as a sporting event.
