World Cup: Portugal faces off with Spain

Spain and Portugal meet in the Iberian Derby today, in both sides' first game at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The Spaniards sacked manager Julien Lopetegui, following his decision join Real Madrid at the end of the tournament. He was replaced by Real Madrid legend Fernando Hierro.

Spain topped their group, dropping just two points in qualifying, remaining unbeaten.

Portugal also finished top of their group but lost to Switzerland in their opening group game.

This is only the second meeting between the two sides in a World Cup. Spain won 1-0 against Portugal in the round of 16 in 2010, on their way to World Cup glory.
