Ga Council "shocked & disappointed" over recent clashes in Ga Mashie The Ga Traditional Council says it received with shock and disappointment, the recent confrontation in Ga Mashie which led to the loss of a life and injuries to some persons. The Council has therefore expressed its deepest condolence to the family of the deceased and pledge to inquire into the root cause of the conflict. A statement signed by the Acting President of the Ga Traditional Council, Nii Dodoo Nsaki said the Council has set up a Committee to look into the issue and will collaborate with the Security Agencies to prevent future occurrences. The Council assures everyone that it will continue to uphold the peace in Ga Mashie before, during and after the lifting of the ban on drumming and noise making and asked all to remain calm.
