Don’t turn away emergency cases – GHS Director

The Director General of the Ghana Health Service Dr. Anthony Nsiah Asare has directed all government hospitals not to turn away any emergency cases in the name of no beds.  

The directive comes on the heels of a 70 year old man who died after he was turned away by seven hospitals in the country.

Dr. Asare was speaking at a Maternal, Child Health and Nutrition Conference in Accra.
