Eleven communities in Nkwanta South demand connection to national electricity grid or go on protest

Some 11 communities in the Nkwanta South Municipality have called on government to connect them to the national electricity grid or they will hit the streets in protest.

According to the communities, though they have done everything possible to be connected, this has not yet materialise. 

Speaking to GBC's Radio Ghana, the MCE for Nkwanta South, John Thasun said they are in touch with the ECG and other Authorities for connection to be done. 

He said this has been communicated to the communities and urged them to remain calm because everything possible is being done to connect them.
