The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Robert Ahomaka Linsey has urged particularly industry players in the private sector to support numerous government flaship programs such as Enterprise Ghana module which aimed at industrialising Ghana and create sustainable job in empowering the youth through Enterpreneurship skills needed to equip and and empower the citizenry. 

According  to him, government has limited resources to address the graduates unemployment therefore effective collaboration between government  and industry players will support the driving force in the industrialization and transformational drive of government. 

Mr. Ahomaka was speaking at the stakeholders  forum on Enterprise Ghana, one of the Nation Builders Corps module, in Kumasi.

The Presentation on Enterprise Ghana brought together private companies, Associations, agencies, development  partners to deliberate and roll-out action plan to ensure successful  implementation  of enterprise Ghana policy. 

The Minister disclosed that about two hundred local companies have been enagged and the ministry is targgeting five hundred companies to meet the expectation of the youth in enterpreneurship.

He said government will continue to support, facilitate and guide the local businesses  to flourish. 

He assured companies of government preparedness to assist and defray cost involve in importing equipment to ensure the growth of the  local industry. 

The Minister disclosed that plans are far advance for the ministry and the industry players to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to ensure smooth collaboration between government and collaborators.
