Journalists campaign for plastic recycling factory in each region

A Network of Journalists known as Journalists for Responsible Fisheries and Environment has begun a campaign to ensure that there is at least a plastic recycling factory in each region of the country.

The Network believes this can be done through government's One District One Factory Policy.

The decision to begin the campaign was taken after members of the Network toured some communities in the Central Region during the World Environment Day and later World Ocean Day to assess the level of plastic pollution in the country.
