Edward Osei appointed acting Director-General of GPHA

President Akufo-Addo has appointed Edward Kofi Osei as the Acting Director General of the Ghana Ports and Habours Authority (GPHA). 

He takes over from Paul Asare Ansah who was relieved of the post on Wednesday (June 6, 2018).

This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the President, Nana Asante Bediatuo.

Meanwhile, the Director-General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Paul Asare Ansah has handed over the management of the Authority to the Director of the Tema Port, Edward Osei. 

Mr. Ansah met with the Top Management Team including CEOs of other affiliate Business Units of the GPHA as well as the International Maritime Hospital and Tema Shipyard after receiving his termination letter. 

This follows a release from the Presidency relieving the Director-General of his position.
