Gov't to take steps to dissolves GFA

Government is to take steps to dissolve Ghana Football Assoaation (GFA), folowing bribery and corruption exposé by a private investigative company, Tiger Eye PI in a documentary video.

A statement issued and signed by Information Minister, Dr. Mustapha Hamid said "government is "shocked and outraged" at the contents of the recently-aired video documentary which captures the investigation conducted into football administration by the loumalist. Anas Aremeyaw Anas. titled ”Number 12: When Misconduct and Greed become the Norm ' The documentary exposes the gross mat-functioning of the Ghana Football Assoaation (GFA), characterized by widespread fraud, corruption and bribery. 

The statement said government has therefore referred the conduct of officials in the said documentary video to the Police for further investigation and appropriate action.
