Government to award 70 percent of its contracts to local contractors

Government has made it a policy to award 70 percent of Government of Ghana, contracts to local contractors out of which 30 percent will be awarded to women. 

The government has also designated fifty percent of MASLOC loans to women. 

President Akufo- Addo announced this at the maiden Women Entrepreneurship Summit in Accra.
