The Daily Graphic is encouraging the youth to succeed ageing cocoa farmers. It says it is ironic that despite the prospects of cocoa farming, Ghana has a teeming youth and others who roam the streets in search of non-existent jobs. To the paper, opportunities in the cocoa industry alone can absorb the number of unemployed youth in the country. The Graphic sees the concern expressed by former President J.A.Kufuor about ageing farmers and the need to replace them as good food for thought. The paper is therefore urging government to do whatever it takes to attract the younger generation into cocoa farming.

                   
The Ghanaian Times: congratulates Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta and the Economic Team for their efforts in putting the economy back on track after some major challenges. According to the paper it has seen good economic indicators and the signs are that the economy has improved. Obviously, there are some who sayt they are not feeling it in their pockets, implying there is much room for  improvement for people to realise the benefits. The paper believes that if we are able to stay on course, the vision of Ghana Beyond Aid would most likely be achieved.
