We’re not against citizens expressing opinion - Police

Director General of the Police Public Affairs Directorate, ACP David Eklu says the pharmacy student arrested by the Police has been granted bail. 

He said the Police are not against citizens expressing their opinion but it was the posture portrayed by the student that led to his arrest. 

ACP Eklu said after a security assessment of the pharmacy student, he was granted bail. 

Reginald Sakyi Brown who displayed a signpost with the inscription "Open University of Ghana Medical Centre" was arrested when the First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo was delivering a speech to cut the sod for the construction of the maternity and children's block of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
