Star Ghana signs over ¢7m grant with 24 partners

Star Ghana has signed a grant with twenty four qualified partners under its Local Governance and Decentralisation call. 

Over GH¢7 million has been awarded to these organisations to implement various projects which are geared towards increasing the effectiveness of citizens' actions for inclusive voice and participation in local governance and improved access and quality in service delivery. 

The projects would be undertaken by scaling up and consolidating the results of previous and ongoing Local governance focused initiatives. 

As a stakeholder of the Local governance grant, the President of the Ghana Journalists Association, Affail Monney, elaborated on the GJA's project which is aimed at building the media and citizens knowledge on key constitutional processes.
