The Daily Graphic and The Ghanaian Times commend peacekeepers on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers, for their effort at ensuring a better and peaceful world. The papers however think misconduct like misusing one's position to exploit the vulnerable, such as rape and maltreatment of detained suspects by some peacekeepers has brought the integrity of peacekeeping operations into question. The two dailies urge all especially Ghanaian peacekeepers to be good ambassadors of the country on such assignments. Daily Graphic and Times support the government's admonishment to peacekeepers that any personnel who will misconduct themselves will be punished. The paper also entreats peacekeepers to heed to this advice as the memories of their sacrifices sometimes end in serious injuries and even death can never be exchanged for vain things such as sexual misconduct.

The Daily Heritage is calling on the public to put measures in place to avoid mobile money theft. The paper commends MTN on the efforts in fighting fraudsters and protecting customers' investment. It urges the police to double up efforts to clamp down on criminals. The Heritage asks the general public to support the police and also avoid visiting pornography sites where Trojan viruses abound to steal information on one's mobile handset. It again asks the public to install anti-viruses to protect their personal data on handsets and computers.
