Remembering Major Mahama; Today marks exactly a year since Major Maxwell Mahama was gruesomely murdered

Today the 29th of May, marks exactly a year since a military officer, Major Maxwell Mahama, was gruesomely murdered at Diaso in the Central Region. 

He was deployed there to protect the Canada Ghana mining company. Major Mahama met his untimely death when he was mistaken for an armed robber. The late Major Mahama, was an officer with the 5th Infantry Batallion of the Ghana Army. 

His family has announced series of activities to observe the passing of their beloved. 

This morning a memorial church service was held in his honour at Burma Camp in Accra.
