Government in talks with religious groups over handing mission schools to religious organizations Government is in talks with the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference and other religious groups in the country for a possible signing of an Agreement for the eventual handing over of mission schools to the religious organizations for control and management. The Association of Catholic Teachers, ACT, a faith-based teachers’ organization, which made this known in a statement pledged its full support for the negotiation and suggested that in the interim, a Memorandum of Understanding be entered into by the parties ahead of the final handing over and taking over Agreement.
