Gov’t in talks with religious groups over handing mission schools to religious organizations Government is in talks with the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference and other religious groups in the country for a possible signing of an Agreement for the eventual handing over of mission schools to the religious organizations for control and management. The Association of Catholic Teachers, ACT, a faith-based teachers’ organization, which made this known in a statement pledged its full support for the negotiation and suggested that in the interim, a Memorandum of Understanding be entered into by the parties ahead of the final handing over and taking over Agreement.
