Centre for Scientific Research into Plant Medicine plans to go into large scale production of capsules that treat prostate enlargement

The Centre for Scientific Research, into Plant Medicine is finding it difficult to go into large scale production of a herbal medicine that treats prostate enlargement. The medicine which is in a form of   capsule a known as URO-500 is on pilot basis for almost a decade.

The Deputy Executive Director of the Centre, Dr. Alfred Appiah disclosed this to journalists belonging to African Media and Malaria Research Network, AMMREN.  

He said the Centre's plan to launch the product in September might not be possible for fear of not meeting the demand.
