"Discipline is key" -Rawlings tells Isaac Dogboe
World Champion Isaac Dogboe, his team and Ghana Boxing Authority officials called on Former President Jerry John Rawlings at his Ridge residence in Accra.
They were there to express appreciation to the former president for his support and advice.
Former president Rawlings in recieving the delegation, congratulated the world champion and urged him to maintain the discipline in order to emulate and surpass Azumah Nelson's Hall of Fame exploits.
Adding that: "Discipline is key!"
Flt Lt Rawlings who has supported Dogboe since his return to Ghana a few years ago and has been at most of his fights said it was important that Dogboe and his team adopted Azumah Nelson as a mentor so he can impart his deep insights and spiritual influence to the new champion.
Dogboe defeated Jesse Magdaleno in Philiadelphia about a month ago,
