Kwesi Nyantakyi allegations ‘unfortunate' if true - Majority Leader 

Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu says it will be unfortunate if what GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi is alleged to have said or done is true. 

He said it is wrong that over the years cabals within the Ghana Football Association demand huge sums of money for supposedly brokering sponsorship deals for the Association. 

Mr. Kyei Mensah Bonsu said in spite of all that, the fortunes of Ghana football keep dwindling.

He also cast doubt on claims by Mr. Nyantakyi that he has the President in his pocket.

Mr Kyei Mensah Bonsu touched on the issue of government noninterference with football administration in Ghana. 

He said that is a wrong notion, because in as much as government invests in football, government cannot take its hands completely off how things are done in the association
