Pet owners asked to make vaccination of their animals a priority to avoid cases of human rabies

The Minister of State in charge of Food and Agriculture, Dr Gyiele Nurah has called on pet owners to make vaccination of their animals a priority. 

He said the purported cases of human rabies in Africa is worrying. Dr Nurah stated that the mostly affected are children in developing countries. 

Dr. Gyiele Nurah said this at a stakeholders workshop on Rabies control in the country.
