Ghana must develop its own malaria herbal medicine - AMMREN The Board chair of African Media and Malaria Research, Network, AMMREN, Mrs Ellen Sam says there is the need for the country to develop its Malaria herbal medicine. This is because the most effective Malaria treatment medicine, accepted by WHO, which is Artemisinin-based are herbal medications. A pharmacist at the Police Hospital in Accra expressed concern that if a resistance is developed for the current anti malaria medications, the country will be doomed.
