2 die, 12 injured in accident on Accra-Peki road 

A passenger car with registration number GT 3027 - 17 involved in an accident yesterday (May 22) claimed the lives of two people and injured 12 others. 

The vehicle was travelling from Accra to Peki when the accident occurred a few kilometers to the Asikuma Junction. 

The accident is said to have occurred when the tyre of the car burst. 

Reports indicate that the injured were sent to the Peki Government Hospital for treatment. 

The Acting Medical Superintendent of the Peki Government Hospital, Dr. Alphonse Dzakpasu spoke to Radio Ghana's Jonathan Thompson.
