The Tamale Metropolitan Assembly last night took into custody more than twenty children aged between five and fourteen who were found loitering on the streets of the metropolis after 10 pm.

The assembly says it will no longer countenance irresponsible parents who expose their children to danger.  The Chief Executive, Iddrisu Musah Superior, last year declared that the Assembly will take custody of children fifteen years and below who are found loitering after 10 pm. 

He advised parents to exercise control over their children to avoid them getting in trouble.
