DVLA receives high patronage of newly premium service The Ashanti Regional offices of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, DVLA is receiving high patronage of its newly introduced Premium Service, an initiative that gives preferential treatment to applicants for drivers' license. The Regional Manager of the DVLA, Edmund Chei, who made this known to Correspondent Nicholas Osei-Wusu in Kumasi, noted that an average of 100 people apply for the premium service weekly since its introduction nearly a year ago. This has also helped to increase the revenue base of the Authority. On vehicles registration, Mr.Chei disclosed that about eight thousand new vehicles have been registered this year and that the office is on course to meet its target of registering 16 thousand this year.
