Cashew Development Board will be established - 
President Akufo-Addo


President Akufo-Addo has said a Cashew Development Board will be established by the end of next month. 

The Board will among other things regulate the Cashew Industry. The President said this when he interacted with some Traditional Rulers in Sunyani. 

He said government through the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, will supply more than two million cashew seedlings to be planted on thirteen thousand hectares of land across the country.  

In addition, 900 Agricultural Extension Agents will also be engaged to provide technical support to the cashew farmers.
