Calm restored at Tumu Police Station following irate youth attack Reports from our Upper West Regional Correspondent Swalla Adbul Wahab, say police re-inforcement at the Tumu Police Station has restored calm following irate youth attack because of patrol arrest of two young people suspected to be dealing in drugs. In the operation one person lost his life after falling into the Tumu dam and got drowned. According to him, the dead body has been retrieved by the youth while the police is demanding the dead body for autopsy. Meanwhile a Security Expert, Irbard Ibrahim says there seems to be a margin of error in almost all operations that has been undertaken in recent times by the police. He said the Police Service should not see itself as a force but a service and re-assess its strategies to meet modern demands. Speaking to Radio Ghana's George Ankrah, after irate youths attacked the Tumu Police Station for causing loss of life of a youth in an-operation, he said the police is currently suffering from image difficulty and confidence which must be worked on.
