Government pledges to invest in ICT infrastructure as world marks Telecommunication and Information Society Day

Government says it will continue to invest and develop the country's ICT base to make life easy for Ghanaians and facilitate development.

Deputy Minister of Communication, George Andah said government has invested heavily in fibre infrastructure nationwide to facilitate value added service. 

Speaking at this year's World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, Mr. Andah said the use of Artificial Intelligence can be tailored in solving challenges in agriculture, health and other sectors.
