Tema Police Command launches maiden Phantom 3 drone technology to detect & combat crime

The Tema Regional Police Command has launched its maiden Phantom 3 drone technology to detect and combat crime in the flash-point areas. 

The drone technology was personally acquired months ago by the Tema Regional Commander, DCOP Nana Asomah Hinneh to help the Police Command to make the Region unattractive for criminals. 

Speaking to the media at the launch in Tema, DCOP Nana Asomah Hinneh said the drones will last for a period of time in the skies but has no night vision of which the command is yet to purchase and can travel as far as Five thousand meters. 

He indicated that the drone will not expose or invade in people’s privacy. 

DCOP Asomah Hinneh added that the police will use advanced technology as time evolves, to help them fight crime in the region.
