Narrating the incident, on CitiFM's current Affairs Programme, "Eye Witness News, a journalist with a local FM "Diamond FM", Mohammed Ibn Arthur said the soldiers launched the attack in protest of their colleague who they alledged was arrested for attacking a taxi driver. According to Mr. Arthur, this is about the third time such an incident has occurred in the area.
