We’re not responsible for installing street lights- ECG

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) says it is not responsible for the installation of street lights.
 
It is however responsible for the collection of street light levy.

In an interview with Radio Ghana, the Principal PRO of Accra West ECG, Eric Asante said the ECG only gives technical advice and has therefore urged Ghanaians to contact the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies if they have issues with installation of street lights.
