In other games, three time league winners Hasaacas won 4-2 against Samaria Ladies. Defending Zonal champions Lady Strikers won by a lone goal against Soccer Intellectuals and Halifax ladies drew 1-1 with Elmina. In the Northern Zone, defending league champions Ampem Darkoa thrashed the Pride of the North, Northern Ladies 3-0 to maintain their 6 match unbeaten run. Mavis Owusu of Ampem Darkoa won the MVP award. At other centres, PearlPia Ladies hosted and defeated Kumasi Sports Academy by two goals and Ashtown Ladies won their second game by 4-1 win over Supreme Ladies. The big match was at the WESCO park as FA Cup holders Prison Ladies were hosted by Fabulous ladies. For the third time in the first round, Prison Ladies scored 4 goals as Fabulous got their consolation through Florence Fosuaa. The FreshPak National Women's League continues this weekend.
