Sensitization on the need to be extra careful on road held in the Western Region Records at the Western Regional Office of the National Road Safety Commission indicate that one hundred and 25 people lost their lives in road accidents in the region in 2017. It also recorded 161 pedestrian knockdowns with 57 losing their lives in the process. The Rotary Club of Sekondi-Takoradi has therefore embarked on a sensitization drive on the need to be extra careful on the road to reduce to the barest minimum, the number of road fatalities.
