Government sets up team in Northern Region to facilitate 1D1F implementation

Government has inaugurated the District Implementation Support Team in the Northern Region, to facilitate the setting up of factories, under its flagship programme, one district, one factory policy. 

This follows the acquisition of a $400 million credit facility from the China National Building Material Corporation, to support the establishment of 22 factories. 

Some of the projects to be set up across the country will be involved in the production of garments, processing of starch among others.
