The Daily Graphic writes about the re-occurrence of the deadly Ebola disease and draws attention of stakeholders in the health sector and the general public to be on the alert. The disease has killed some seventeen people and infected several others in the democratic republic of Congo. The paper recalls the devastating effects the disease caused West Africa three years ago and called for quick intervention to prevent it. The Graphic urges all to report any suspicious deaths to the health authorities while avoiding contact with any such bodies. Also the country's borders should be on the lookout for persons coming in and out of the country in order to keep the country safe from the virus.

                       
The Ghanaian Times is saddened about the death of a student of Osei Kyeretwei Senior High School who was stabbed to death by a fellow student. The paper says the incident is a wake-up call for school authorities to ensure discipline in school. The Times wondered the circumstance under which a weapon was made available to student which caused the unfortunate incident. It calls on the Ghana Education Service (GES), the education ministry and parent teacher association to ensure that such students who perpetrate such acts are not shielded but made to face the law to serve as a deterrent

The Daily Heritage is worried at the increase in cases of defilement and the manner in which such cases are handled. It says clinical evidences on such matters are usually tampered with which affect evidence of the case. The Heritage is therefore calling on the police and the domestic violent unit to educate victims on how to handle themselves in an event of rape so that they do not tamper with the necessary evidence for prosecution
