Producers and Exporters of fruits and vegetables want more collaborative efforts


Ghanaian producers and Exporters of fruits and vegetables want more collaborative efforts to tackle the issue of pesticide poisoning. 

According to them, the standard measure for food crops especially fruits and vegetables exported, must be the same for the local market. 

They stated this at a stakeholder engagement with the Ghana Standards Authority in Accra. 

The Director General, Prof. Alex Dodoo stressed that the safety of the public is paramount hence healthy standards must be enforced to the letter.
