AMA Boss asked Accra residents to improve sanitary conditions and hygiene


He said the private sector had been engaged by the Government to provide a wide range of services to help mitigate the growing challenges of waste management in the country.

“The AMA recognises that the way forward is to collaborate with private sector institutions, media and residents, hence the need for a call to all residents in Accra to involve themselves in clean-up exercises,” he said.

The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma Central Constituency Ebenezer Nartey, said a clean and healthy environment is the surest guarantee of good health and urged the people to keep their surroundings clean.

He said he had waged war against filth to ensure that the programme of promoting good health in the area would be sustained to create a clean and healthy environment.
