NDC holds Unity Walk in Bolgatanga today 

Former President John Mahama has arrived at the Upper East Regional Capital Bolgatanga for NDC's Unity Walk in that region. 

The former President was mobbed by a mammoth crowd at Walewale enroute to Bolgatanga for today's walk.

The opposition party has been holding what it dubbed Unity Walks across the country. 

The party hopes to use the walks to re-energise its grassroots following its worst electoral defeat in 2016. So far, the party has held the walks in eight regions, including Eastern, Brong Ahafo, and Northern. 

The last unity walk was held at the Ashanti Regional capital Kumasi, where the former President chastised the current administration for its modus operandi in the fight against illegal mining. 

Other National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer aspirants including Prof Joshua Alabi, Ekow Spio-Garbrah, Sylvester Mensah and Alban Bagbin have all been invited to take part in the walks.
