Publish identities of 51% Ghanaian shareholders in ECG Concession Agreement - Coalition The Convener, of the Coalition of Stakeholders on Energy Concession Arrangements, COSECA, Richard Nyamah has urged government and the Millennium Development Authority, MiDA to publish the identities of the 51 percent Ghanaian shareholders in the ECG Concession. Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme “Behind The News,” Mr. Nyamah said MiDA as a measure of accountability and transparency, as well as its own corporate responsibility, must be open in its assurance that the Ghanaian interest is safe. Meanwhile, General Secretary of the Public Utilities Workers Union, PUWU, Michael Adumattah Nyantakyi says the 51 percent majority stakeholders in the ECG Concession being Ghanaian Private Sector can turn the fortunes of the Company around, by retaining the profits made in the country. He told Ibrahim Kwarteng on “Behind The News” that PUWU is not able to verify easily, the identities of the Ghanaian Private Sector which are in consortium with Meralco Company Limited, because all documentation regarding the Concession are with the Millennium Development Authority.
